Mozarthaus Vienna A centre devoted to the life and works of a musical genius Domgasse 5 is the only one of Mozart’s apartments in Vienna that still exists today. The composer lived in Mozarthaus Vienna from 1784 to 1787 in grand style, with four large rooms, two small ones and a kitchen. The life and works of this musical genius are presented in and around this apartment on four exhibition levels. In addition to the historical Mozart apartment visitors can find out about the times in which Mozart lived and his most important works.

Castle Burg Riegersburg Riegersburg, situated on a volcano rock, proudly overlooks the soft hills of Eastern Styria. Unconquered for centuries, is she still today a remarkable fortress and fills people with respect. You can „conquer“ the castle, climbing up the footpath through the seven archways or you can use the lift at the north side of the castle. The first knight who is known to have build a castle here, was a Rüdiger von Hohenberg and the castle was name after him, „Ruotkerspurch“, that was in 1138.

Achensee Steam Cog Railway Whistling, hissing and puffing the Achensee Steam Cog Railway makes its way up to the Tyrol’s largest alpine lake, driven by the World’s oldest steam cog locomotives. In 1888 his Majesty the Emperor Kaiser Franz Josef I gave his consent to the construction of the narrow gauge steam cog railway, and since 1889 the Achenseebahn has been transporting holiday-makers and day trippers from Jenbach to the boat station of Seespitz at the Southern shore of the Achensee.
